Chennai, June 17 (Reporter) One person died in a private cracker manufacturing unit at Mannargudi in Tiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu. In a statement here on Monday, Chief Minister M K Stalin said in the blast that took place yesterday, one worker Satish Kumar (34) suffered serious burn injuries. He was rushed to Mannargudi District Government Headquarters hospital where he succumbed today. Mr Stalin expressed deep anguish and grief over his death and offered his condolences to the bereaved family members and their relatives.
