Opposition INDIA bloc heading towards collapse : JD(U)

Patna, Jan 27 (Reporter) Amid rapidly changing political scenario in Bihar, the JD(U) on Saturday said opposition alliance INDIA is heading towards collapse due to "irresponsible" behaviour of the Congress. National General Secretary of JD(U) and party spokesman K C Tyagi told media persons that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had laid foundation for opposition INDIA bloc after strenuous efforts. Efforts of Kumar yielded in launching INDIA bloc but the Congress failed to discharge its responsibility as the largest party of the alliance, he pointed out. " INDIA bloc is heading towards collapse due to insensitive and irresponsive attitude of Congress, " Tyagi said alleging the Congress was trying to get imposed President's Rule in West Bengal in place of an elected government. Such attitude made West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee furious who refused to grant permission for 'Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra' of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the state, further aggravating the affairs in alliance INDIA, he maintained. " Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have locked horns in Punjab and their relation is getting strained beyond repair, " the JD(U) leader said adding the possibility of BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal joining hands had brightened. It appeared that the Congress had shattered the dream of Nitish of a strong opposition INDIA bloc, he stated. As it is, in a fluid political scenario in Bihar, relation between JD(U) and RJD got strained after statement of Kumar on RJD chief Lalu Prasad promoting his family in politics. Reacting to remark of Kumar, Rohini Acharya, daughter of Lalu Prasad had posted comment on social media X, which described Chief Minister as a leader of no principle. Acharya, however, had withdrawn her comments from social site but Kumar turned furious since then. Now relation between JD(U) and Nitish appears to have deteriorated beyond repair, he opined...////...
