Patna, Aug 24 (Reporter) MP from Purnia Rajesh Ranjan, alias Pappu Yadav, announced taking out a state-wide "Sankalp Yatra" (Resolution March) after the Chhhath festival against the haterade and to protect 14 crore people in the state. Yadav told newspersons here on Saturday that he was dedicated and committed towards the people of Purnia and Bihar, and for the convenience of the people and the development of Purnia had raised the issue of the airport in Purnia. Describing the proposed development of Chunapur Army airport of Purnia as the people's victory, Yadav said that though Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did not give a place to the local MP in his protocol, at least he remembered Purnia after 20 years and visited there. Speaking about the next assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and Jharkhand Yadav announced their support for Congress and the alliance. Yadav also raised the issues of the Agni Veer scheme, reservation, farmers, and employment with the youth, alleging that only tall promises were made for these sections. Yadav also spoke on the issues of the SC-ST creamy layer and criticised the government's lateral entry policy. Yadav said that Bihar should get special state status and a special package should be given to Purnia, Seemanchal area, and Magadh region for proper development. In addition to Purnia, the MP also demanded the construction of airports in Muzaffarpur, Raxaul, and Bhagalpur. He also asked the government to declare Purnia the sub-capital of the state...////...
