Patna court summons TN Minister Stalin for Sanatan Dharma remark

Patna, Jan 15 (Reporter) A local Court on Monday issued summon to DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Youth Affairs Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin for his "offensive" remark against Sanatan dharma last year. Sarika Bahalia, Judge of special Court for disposal of cases against MPs and MLAs, issued summon against Stalin taking cognisance of two petitions filed against him for his "offensive" remark against Sanatan Dharma during a conference in Chennai on September 2 last year. Petitions were filed separately by Kishore Kunal, Secretary of Mahaveer Mandir Trust and Kaushlendra Narayan, a senior advocate of Patna High Court. Both petitioners demanded strict legal action against Stalin for hurting the sentiments of Hindus. The court issued summon to Udhayanidhi directing him to appear before it on February 13. There was much hue and cry at the national level when Stalin during his speech in a conference organised in Chennai, had described Sanatan Dharma as "Dengue" and "Malaria". He had also advocated the need for wiping out Sanatan Dharma , like Malaria and Dengue...////...
