Mumbai, June 20 (Reporter) Nationalist Congress Party (SP) supremo Sharad Pawar said on Thursday that people have lost faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the latter’s "guarantee" has turned out to be "false". “Modi's guarantee turned out to be false. Promises were made, but not fulfilled," Pawar told reporters. Criticising the BJP and Prime Minister Modi, the NCP (SP) chief said now people no longer trust Modi's guarantee and the same was seen in the Lok Sabha election result in which the BJP’s tally fell below the majority mark. Responding to speculation whether NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader Chhagan Bhujbal will return to his team, Pawar said he had no knowledge about it. Pawar said he has written to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday about the drought and other issues, including a demand to increase milk price by Rs 5 per litre...////...
