Hyderabad, Dec 20 (Reporter) Shruti Patil, Additional Director General (ADG) of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Hyderabad, on Friday inaugurated the Publications Division stall (a media unit of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) at the 37th Hyderabad Book Fair here. Speaking at the event, Patil emphasized that the Publications Division is a leading publishing house of the Government of India, playing a vital role in releasing journals that highlight the government’s initiatives. “The books from the Publications Division cover a wide array of topics of national importance, from our rich heritage and values to modern and contemporary ideas,” she said. She explained that the books available at the stall cover subjects including economic development, rural reconstruction, community development, literature, culture, children’s literature, and information on employment and career opportunities. Patil encouraged job aspirants and youth to explore these books for valuable insights into crucial issues. Md. Sirajuddin, Assistant Director of the Publications Division, mentioned that the stall features a collection of books on Gandhian literature, freedom fighters, art history, defence, Rashtrapati Bhavan, presidential and prime ministerial speeches, as well as children’s literature.
