Patna, Sep 29 (Reporter) Prashant Kishor on Sunday announced to launch new political party, "Jan Suraj " on October 2 and set the target of winning two-third seats for his party in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. Kishor popularly known as PK, has been leading the " Jan Suraj " mission in Bihar for the last two years, announced for launching of the party with the same nomenclature " Jan Suraj " on October 2, with strong alternative and conviction to change the existing system in larger interests of people of Bihar. Since 1990, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ruled Bihar but issues of migration, unemployment, and better education remained the same and Bihar was still at the bottom of all states on various development parameters, he pointed out. " I have been visiting every nook and corner of Bihar for the last two years under 'Jan Suraj mission ', and based on feedback from people and their aspirations, a new party with the same name "Jan Suraj" will be launched on October 2", PK said adding that his new party would work with strong commitment and transparency to change the existing system and work for finding out solutions to the problems being faced by the people. His mission "Jan Suraj" had got massive support from the people and it would also get the same response as the political party, he claimed. " Our party 'Jan Suraj' proposed to be launched on October 2 will get at least two third seats in 2025 Bihar Assembly elections", Kishor said adding that if his party bagged 130 to 135 seats in assembly elections, it would be a personal defeat for him. He, however, clarified that in such a situation, his party would form the government but still, it would be a personal defeat for him, he stressed. PK evaded a direct reply to a query about possibility of an alliance of his party with other parties if it failed to get the magic number of 122 required to form the government, saying that it would be like defeat for him even if his party won 130 to 135 seats in next Assembly elections. All sections of the society including Muslims, Backwards, Extremely Backward Classes, and others would get representations in proportion to their population, in the selection of candidates for Assembly elections, he promised. Kishor said that apart from nature, flood problems in Bihar were human-generated so that engineers and officials could get the opportunity to loot public money. Sometimes it was found that embankments were deliberately damaged to cause inundation of neighboring areas, he alleged. PK said that a provision in the party constitution would be made to recall the elected MP or MLA if founding members were not satisfied with his performance in the respective constituency. A notice would be slapped on erring elected representative and if a proposal to recall him was passed by two-thirds of founding members of the council, he would be legally bound to resign, he pointed out. Kishor said that the liquor ban had completely failed in Bihar and its very purpose stood defeated as home delivery of liquor was being made by peddlers. If his party was voted to power, liquor ban would be lifted within 15 minutes, he declared. PK said that the Survey of land, Smart meters, and Sharab Bandi (liquor ban), better listed as three ' S ' would prove to be the last three nails of the political coffin of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Poor people were being harassed in the name of land survey and installation of smart meters, he alleged. Kishor said that his party would present a road map of his party giving details of steps to be taken for solving basic issues like unemployment, migration, and poverty. People of Bihar would allow his party to serve the state, taking decisions beyond caste and creed considerations, he exuded his confidence...////...
