Krishnanagar (WB) May 3 (Reporter) Asserting that the BJP-led NDA is poised to cover not only 370 seats but looking forward to cross 400 mark, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday claimed that the Congress cannot make 50 and Trinamool Congress 15 in 2024 General election. Addressing an electioneering in West Bengal's Nadia district for BJP candidates Amrita Roy, (Krishnagar), Jagannath Sarkar (Ranaghat) and Nirmal Saha for Baharampur Lok Sabha seats, Modi clarified that the INDI Alliance, including Congress and TMC, are fighting among themselves to decide who would be the main opposition after June 4 as the voters across India decided to return BJP-led NDA alliance for the third term for 'Viksit Bharat'. " The people this time have decided that the BJP-led NDA is poised to cover not only 370 seats but looking forward to cross 400, " Modi said. " The appeasement policy of the Congress, Left and TMC has reached so far that they are opposing the CAA to grant the Indian citizenship to those Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists, who arrived here and stayed as refugees for long, fearing losing vote banks, " Modi alleged saying the TMC was the most vocal for not implementing such act. " None can stop the CAA and this is Modi ki guarantee," the PM said. Modi said the Congress divided India on the religious basis but in the past 70 years the plight of the Hundus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists, who were left out after coming to India, will be mitigated if they were given their citizenship rights. The TMC's opposition to the CAA was obvious for its vote bank policy and left the people at the mercy of looters, extortionists and corrupt people, he stated. " This would not last long and the offenders would not get scot free. This is my guarantee to the people of Bengal," Modi said. He said the TMC has stooped so low that even the party has forgotten the contribution of Maharaja Krishna Chandra Roy for his reformation for the nd well-being of the the people of the country and his dynasty have been suffering because of the misrule of the state government. The PM said the people in the state have no option but to knock at the doors of the judiciary to have justice against unjust state administration, which serves the corrupt people and TMC goons. " Take the case for Sandeshkhali where the mothers and sisters defied the torture of Shajahan Sheikh unleashing reign of terror, " the PM said. Earlier addressing an election rally in Bardhaman, Modi charged the Congress, Left and TMC with "conspiring" in an alliance (INDIA) to end the reservation for the OBC, ST and SC and allot it to the Muslims on the religious ground for their vote bank.Modi said he was aghast to learn that a TMC leader in Bengal on Thursday allegedly threatened to drown all the Hindus in the Bhagirathi (Ganga) in two hours and expressed his apprehension about what will happen to the Hindus of this state, who were attacked during Ram Navami celebration recently." They (Opposition) cannot bring development. They only know how to drive a wedge in the society for the sake of votes. A TMC MLA has issued an open threat. He said they would drown Hindus in the Bhagirathi in just two hours. What is this language and political culture?... What is happening to Hindus in Bengal? Looks like the TMC has made the Hindus second citizens in West Bengal, " Modi averred.Modi, who was campaigning for BJP MP Dilip Ghosh contesting from Burdwan-Durgapur Lok Sabha seat and singer poet Ashim Sarkar for Bardwan Purba, slammed the TMC and Left in Bengal and alleged that the Hindus have been made a second-class citizen in the state."
