Mumbai, Apr 8 (Reporter) Criticising the Maha Vikas Agadhi (MVA), Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the opposition has neither any flag nor any agenda.
Addressing first rally in Chandrapur of Vidarbha region in Maharashtra in support of BJP candidates Sudhir Mungantiwar and Ashok Nete, he targeted the previous MVA government, accusing it of putting the brakes on many development projects in the state during its tenure.
He claimed that the MVA leaders did not work for development of the state, but for development of themselves and their families, he charged.
During the MVA government, the Jalyukta Shivar scheme was stopped in the state, apart from this, many irrigation projects were also stopped, he alleged.
Apart from that, he continued that the water grid scheme for Marathwada was stopped, Mumbai Metro, refinery project was closed and alleged that the scheme to provide houses to poor was also halted.
The Prime Minister said that the Mahayuti (grand coalition) government has restarted all these schemes, the Shinde-Fadnavis-Pawar government has been working day and night in the state for last few days.
He expressed that people consider the Modi government as their government and profusely praised the work of Eknath Shinde's government in the state.
