Guwahati, Feb 2 (Reporter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Assam on Saturday on a two-day visit during which he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for projects totalling Rs 11,599 core, state Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Friday. Addressing a press conference at Lok Seva Bhawan in Dispur about the Prime Minister's visit, Sarma announced that Modi would land in Guwahati at 7-30 p.m. on Saturday. On the same day, he would hold a meeting with the BJP state core committee. 'The Prime Minister will address a public meeting at Khanapara Ground at 11-30 a.m. on Sunday. During the event, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple projects worth Rs 11,599 crore, funded by both the central and state governments,' he said.
