Thrissur (Kerala), Jan 15 (Reporter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will offer prayers at Thriprayar Sree Ramaswami temple near here, immediately after a visit to Guruvayur Sri Krishna temple on Wednesday.
Thriprayar is one of the most famous temples in India, with Lord Ram as its main deity.
Prime Minister's visit to Thriprayar temple assumes significance in the wake of the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
According to the Prime Minister's tour itinerary, Modi will reach Guruvayur at 8:00 a.m by helicopter and offer prayers at Sri Krishna temple.
After a 20-minute stay in the temple, he will attend former BJP MP Suresh Gopi's daughter's wedding, and will leave for Thriprayar Sree Ramaswami temple to offer prayers.
This is his second visit to Guruvayur since taking over as Prime Minister, the first one on June 8, 2019.
From there, the Prime Minister will leave for Kochi to inaugurate the international ship repair facility and dry dock.
He will also address a meeting of office-bearers of Shaktikendra, the BJP's booth-level organisational
committee at Marine Drive before leaving for Delhi.
Earlier, upon his arrival in Kochi on January 16, Modi will participate in a road show...////...
