Hyderabad, Mar 1 (Reporter) Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi stands at the pinnacle in all surveys. Speaking at the Vijay Sankalpa Yatra roadshow held in Warasiguda in the city on Friday, Reddy announced that elections across the country are scheduled for the first week of April. Reddy emphasised that the Narendra Modi government, in power for 9 and a half years, has provided a corruption-free, peaceful, and secure environment, offering welfare programs for the weak and vulnerable. The Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra aims to raise awareness among the public to vote for the country's well-being, the future of children, and the welfare of the underprivileged. The ongoing yatra, in progress since February 20, will conclude with a sabha held at the square in Amber Peta. Reddy highlighted Modi's leadership during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic and terrorist attacks by Pakistani ISS terrorists in cities like Hyderabad and Mumbai. He praised Modi's consistent top position in surveys and the government's initiatives, including providing 5 kg of free rice, extending health insurance through Ayushman Bharat, and distributing cooking gas to every woman in the country. Reddy contrasted the Modi government's commitment to the development of gram panchayats with the alleged corruption of the Congress party, accusing them of earning Rs 12 lakh crore through coal and 2G scams. He emphasised that Modi's administration has remained corruption-free, with no allegations of financial misconduct. Appealing to the voters for their support in the upcoming elections, Reddy expressed confidence in Modi's ethical and honest leadership, stating, "For the future of the people of the country, the future of the children, and the welfare of the poor, Modi is a leader who works with ethics and honesty.
