PMK functionary murder case : NIA raids in TN

Chennai, Aug 1 (Reporter) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials on Thursday conducted raids at the premises of former members and functionaries of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI) in five districts of Tamil Nadu in connection with the sensational 2019 murder of PMK Functionary V.Ramalingam. Reports received here said the simultaneous raids were being held at Tiruchi, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai districts. The raids were on in more than 10 locations in these districts. Ramalingam was murdered at Thirubuvanam in Thanjavur district in February 2019 and the NIA was probing the case after the alleged involvement PFI members in it came to light...////...
