Kolkata, Nov 30 (Reporter) A Bangladeshi national and BNP leader was arrested from a hotel in a central part of the city with a fake Indian passport, Aadhaar card, and other documents, official sources said. The accused, identified as Selim Matabbar, a resident of Madaripur in Bangladesh, carrying a passport in the name of Rabi Sharma was arrested from a hotel in the city, sources added. The city Police following a tip-off raided the hotel and arrested the Bangladeshi national, who allegedly had been staying for the last two years. He confessed to the police that he was a member of the BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party ). Sources said he was working in the hotel at Marquis Street from where he was arrested. The Kolkata police on Friday night arrested the foreign national, who had been living in Central Kolkata under a fake identity for the past two years...////...
