Imphal, Dec 9 (Reporter) Manipur Police arrested an active cadre of a militant outfit in Imphal on Sunday. Police said the man was allegedly involved in extortion activities from spa centres located in the Imphal area. Police further said movement of 373 nos. of vehicles carrying essential items along NH-2 was ensured on Sunday. Strict security measures were taken up in all vulnerable locations and security convoy was provided in sensitive stretches in order to ensure free and safe movement of the vehicles.
