Madurai, Apr 19 (Reporter) Polling began on a brisk note in 10 Lok Sabha constituencies spread across nine Southern and six Lok Sabha Constituencies in Central region of Tamil Nadu on Friday morning. Men, women and first-time voters in large numbers queued up in front of polling stations well before voting started at 0700 am. While the Central region comprised six Lok Sabha constituencies of Tiruchirapalli, Karur, Perambalur, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai, the Southern region has 10 constituencies, including Madurai, Sivaganga, Theni, Dindigul, Virudhunagar, Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari.
