Shimla, Feb 9 (Reporter) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered two cases against the accused, including GraminDakSevak/Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM), posted in District Hamirpur and Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh), respectively, and unknown others, on allegations of securing jobs by submitting forged and fake educational qualification documents. These cases are in furtherance of two cases registered by CBI earlier in the matter of postal recruitment scams involving allegations of securing these jobs by submitting forged, fraudulent educational documents, certificates, etc. It is alleged that the accused, in a conspiracy, forged educational qualification documents and also used the same for selection as Gramin Dak Sevaks (Assistant Branch Post Masters) in the Postal Department in Himachal Pradesh. They allegedly, thus, drew salaries wrongfully and caused losses to the postal department. Searches were conducted at two places at the premises of both accused in District Bhiwani and Hisar (Haryana) and recovered some incriminating documents. The investigation is continuing. The accused were identified as Monu, then Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) ABPM at Kaphara, SO Berthin, District Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh), and Deepak, then Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) ABPM at Ukhil B.O.
