Prashant Kishor involved in corrupt practices for raising funds : JD(U) alleges

Patna, Feb 15 (Reporter) JD(U) on Saturday alleged that "Jan Suraaj" founder Prashant Kishor was involved in corrupt practices for raising funds for his party. JD(U) Spokesman Neeraj Kumar told media persons here that Kishor was involved in a number of corrupt practices for raising funds for his party. He also produced documents of shell companies donating for "Jan Suraaj ", saying it was a clear case of money laundering. "Companies having capital strength of only Rs one crore donated Rs 15 crores for 'Jan Suraaj' and those with few lakhs of paid up capital, donated several crores", he said and asked how could it be possible. He had also put evidence in public domain but Kishor did not give convincing explanation, Kumar pointed out. The JD(U) leader said that the Jan Suraaj founder was also collecting money from those willing to contest Bihar assembly election on his party tickets. It was an exercise to dupe innocent people of Bihar, he cautioned. Kumar took potshot at Kishor for his claim that his party was getting funds due to blessings of Goddess Saraswati, saying first President Dr Rajendra Prasad and notorious fraud Natwarlal had also blessings of Goddess Saraswati , but there was vast difference between these two persons. Kishor was becoming Natwarlal of politics and people should remain alert from him, the JD(U) leader suggested. " If I am making false charges of money laundering and other corrupt practices against Kishor, why he is not lodging a defamation suit against me ", Kumar asked.
