Hyderabad, Dec 21 (Reporter)President Droupadi Murmu left for New Delhi after her five-day southern sojourn ended on Saturday.
She was given a warm send-off by Governor Jishnu Dev Verma, Union Minister Kishan Reddy, Minister Seethakka and dignitaries at the Air Force Station, Hakimpet, on the city outskirts.
During her five-day sojourn, the President participated in several programmes including the convocation ceremony of AIIMS, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh, inauguration /laying of the foundation of various initiatives at Rashtrapati Nilayam.
She also presented the President’s Colours to the College of Defence Management, Secunderabad in the city and met the dignitaries, apart from hosting ‘At Home’ where the Chief Minister, Ministers and officials participated.
The At Home was hosted at the Rashtrapathi Nilayam, where she stayed as a part of the annual sojourn.
This is Murmu’s third visit to Hyderabad for a southern sojourn since she was elected to the highest office in July last year...////...
