Pune, Jan 6 (Reporter) Notwithstanding difficulties and struggles in their life, people working in administrative service should find a way out of difficult situations with a sense of justice and devote oneself to public service work sensitively, said Dr Nitin Karir, Maharashtra chief secretary, on Saturday.
Speaking as chief guest at a function organised to inaugurate a book 'Sangharshayatri' (struggle passengers) written by veteran writer Shrikant Sable here, he said that one should maintain professional honesty and innovation while working for social welfare with a principled spirit without compromising on values."
One should not lose the perspective of social service while creating one's own world with stubbornness and ability, he suggested.
Lauding the work of writer Shrikant Sable, Dr Karir said, "Shrikant Sable has persevered in creating this book and has tried to convey inspiring stories of many to the readers."
"This book is a journey of how everyone faced the struggle and created something new. From books, school, friends, cinema, plays, people constantly learn from each other. Keep learning, this is a book that shows you how to do better in your field of work," he added.
While revealing the journey of making the book, the writer said, "It is the story of the struggle of the officers who faced difficulties while achieving success in administrative service, overcame them, the impression made by their work after becoming an officer, the special identity they made and the career that will be a guide to the new generation...////...
