Bengaluru, Mar 2 (Reporter) The Rameshwaram Cafe blast case has been handed over to City Crime Branch, and no arrest has been made yet, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayananda confirmed.
"Investigation of the case has been handed over to the City Crime Branch (CCB). All the injured are recovering. No arrest has been made," he said in an X post.
The Bengaluru police have registered a case under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosive Substances Act in connection with the blast.
Earlier, the top officer said the investigation is in full swing and several teams are working on different leads obtained so far. As many as 10 persons have sustained injuries in the blast.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed confidence in nabbing the bomber as the CCTV cameras have captured his movements. He visited the blast victims at the hospital this afternoon.
The blast that occurred at the Rameshwaram Cafe is similar to the explosions reported in Mangaluru used in the improvised explosive device (IED), Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said...////...
