Ready to collaborate for development of Hyderabad: Telangana CM

Hyderabad, Jan 6 (Reporter) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy stated that the state government is prepared to collaborate with anyone dedicated to the development of Hyderabad. Speaking at the inauguration of the newly constructed Aranghar-Zoo Park flyover on Monday, the Chief Minister highlighted the government's commitment to resolving challenges and enhancing the city's infrastructure. Recalling the construction of the PV Expressway during Y S Rajasekhar Reddy's tenure, the Chief Minister noted that the state has surpassed its benchmarks with the completion of the second-largest flyover in Hyderabad. "We are proving that our competition is with ourselves as we continue to set higher standards in development," he remarked. The Chief Minister emphasised the importance of projects like Metro Rail expansion and the revival of the Musi River to address Hyderabad's future needs. He pledged the government's readiness to provide funds for city development while urging public representatives to ensure the timely completion of projects. Addressing the historical legacy of Hyderabad, he praised the Nizam-era construction of Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar for resolving the city's drinking water challenges. He announced plans to further enhance the city's appeal by constructing a cable bridge over Miralam Tank and developing it as a tourist attraction. The Chief Minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to collaborative efforts, saying, "We are ready to work with AIMIM and all other stakeholders for Hyderabad’s growth, whether it’s during election periods or beyond." Additionally, he revealed plans to lay the foundation stone for a new Osmania Hospital in Goshamahal soon. The Chief Minister proposed naming the newly inaugurated flyover after former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh as a tribute to his contributions. Prominent attendees included AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, CM Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, GHMC Mayor, Deputy Mayor, ministers, MLAs, MLCs, and senior officials.
