Visakhapatnam, Jan 26 (Reporter) AK Bagchi, Director (Projects) & Additional charge Director (Operations), RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), urged everyone to strive hard to put RINL back on the path of progress and glory. Unfurling the national flag on the occasion of 76th Republic Day at the Trishna grounds at Ukkunagaram of Visakhapatnam steel plant, here, Bagchi said that RINL continues to be amongst the lowest in Water Consumption in the Indian Steel Industry. “Though we are passing through tough times, we can achieve greater results with proper planning and by working as a team, he said. He expressed confidence that the RINL team can once again achieve the turnaround with committed and dedicated efforts by every employee of RINL. Bagchi said RINL bagged several prestigious National and State level awards like the State Energy Conservation Gold Award Award-2024 in the Iron & Steel Sector from AP Government for measures towards Energy conservation,and National Energy Leader Award consecutively for the 6th time from CII Godrej Green Business Centre.
