Buenos Aires, Apr 19 (Reporter) River Plate rose to third in Argentina's Primera Division Group B standings with a 3-0 away win over Gimnasia. Sebastian Driussi put the visitor ahead on Friday when he fired home from inside the six-yard box following Marco Acuna's floating free-kick. Teenage midfielder Franco Mastantuono doubled the lead with a superb piece of skill in the 54th-minute. The 17-year-old dribbled into the box with a driving run from the right wing before cutting onto his left foot - leaving three defenders in his wake - and rifling a low shot that beat goalkeeper Nelson Insfran at his near post. Rodrigo Aliendro completed the rout with a composed finish from a tight angle after Miguel Borja's pass eight minutes from time. The result at El Bosque leaves River Plate with 25 points from 14 games, three points behind group leader Independiente, which has a game in hand. Gimnasia is 12th in the 15-team group, 12 points further back. Elsewhere in Argentina's top flight on Friday, Velez Sarsfield won 1-0 at Talleres Cordoba, Racing Club prevailed 1-0 at home to Central Cordoba and Union Santa Fe was held to a 1-1 home draw by Newell's Old Boys...////...
