Patna, Jan 26 (Reporter) Amid deepening uncertainty in the political corridors of Bihar over possibilities of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar crossing over to the NDA again, the RJD asked Kumar on Friday to clear the confusion about his stand at the earliest.RJD MP Manoj Jha said that now it is up Nitish Kumar to clear his stand over the speculations of Kumar shifting towards NDA. Being the chief of the grand alliance government, Nitish Kumar should resolve the confusion at the earliest, quipped Jha.He said that everything was clear at RJD fold and whatever confusion was it was only on the part of Nitish Kumar.Meanwhile amid growing speculations of Kumar shifting towards NDA apparently jeopardising the unity of I.N.D.I.A. Alliance, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejasvi Prasad Yadav convened emergent meeting to discuss the strategies in view of the fast changing political scenario in the state.The RJD is keeping an hawk's eye on the situation and has put its legislators on alert mode.According to party insiders, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was striving to attain the magic number of 122 in the state assembly to form the next government in case Nitish Kumar shifts towards NDA. Lalu Yadav faction was meticulously preparing strategies to get the magic number of 122 for this he was eyeing on the potential defections from Jitan Ram Manjhi's faction HAM, the AIMIM, and an independent legislators to form the government.Including RJD, Congress and Left parties, their strength in the state assembly is 114 which is short of 6 to 8 MLAs to form the government.Sources close to RJD said that to get the suport of 4 MLAs of HAM of Jitan Ram Manjhi, Yadav was ready to offer the post of Deputy CM to Manjhi's son . An independent MLA and one MLA of AIMIM may support RJD if offered desired position, stated the sources. In this way RJD will have the support of 120 MLAs.According to an RJD insider, Yadav was also preparing strategies for doing some kind of trick to get the magic number. Realising the role of Assembly Speaker who can prove to be the strongest link to move the MLAs here and there or to do some kind of trick, he was in constant touch with Awadh Bihari Chaudhary, the Assembly Speaker and senior RJD leader.Revealing another tactics of Yadav, the party insider further confide that RJD chief was also trying for resignation of some MLAs of JDU for comfortably forming the government.
