RJD MLA surrenders in Bihar court

Patna, Apr 17 (Reporter) RJD MLA from Danapur assembly constituency Rit Lal Yadav surrendered before Danapur Civil Court on Thursday. The MLA surrendered along with his brother Pinku Yadav, nephew Shravan Yadav and Chiku Yadav in the Court of ACJM five. MLA's lawyer Safdar Hayat said here that Rit Lal Yadav along with his relatives surrendered in connection with the case related to extortion and death threat lodged by a builder at Khagaul police station. All the four have been taken into judicial custody. However, the MLA has not filed any bail application and was being sent to the jail. As it is on April 11, the Special Task Force (STF) and Patna Police raided the residence of MLA Ritlal Yadav, a close aide of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, at Kothwa, office, Naubatpur, Mahajan Mansion at Gola Road Engineer Nagar, Bihta, Patna and other places. About Rs 10.5 lakh in cash, blank cheques worth Rs 77 lakh, six suspicious blank cheques, 14 deeds and agreements, 17 cheque books, stamp papers, six pen drives and other electronic material, including a walkie-talkie, were recovered during the raid...////...
