Satara, Mar 2 (Reporter) Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Republican Party of India (Athavale group) chief Ramdas Athavale on Saturday took a dig at senior Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi, saying that he should work on keeping his party together rather than taking 'Bharat Jodo' yatra as he would not benefit from it. Addressing a press conference here this evening, he said that as many senior Congress leaders were leaving the party and joining the Mahayuti, Gandhi should pay attention to keep his party united. Commenting on INDIA bloc, he said mockingly that there were 20 to 25 candidates in fray for prime minister's post and leaders of each alliance partners were ready for this post. While Nitish Kumar has joined to the NDA and Mamata Banerjee has decided to contest Lok Sabha elections independently, he said while pointing to differences in the bloc. On announcement of 10 per cent reservation for the Maratha community by the Mahayuti government, he appealed Maratha quota leader Manoj Jarange-Patil to withdraw his ongoing agitation. On Prime Minister Narendra Modi making available crores of rupees for many memorials of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, Athavale claimed that these works were stopped by the Congress government.
