Mumbai, Apr 11 (Reporter) The Rupee on Friday opened on a strong note at 86.01, appreciating 69 paise against the US Dollar on selling of USD by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market informed. The Dollar plunged due to rising tension between the US and China. The domestic unit surged owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies and strong opening in the equity market. The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 85.99 and 86.14 respectively, dealer added.
