Chennai, Aug 8 (Reporter) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President
M K Stalin condoled the death of former West Bengal Chief Minister
and a stalwart of Left movement Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee in Kolkata
on Thursday.
Mr Stalin said he was saddened by the passing away of Comrade
Buddhadeb and his steadfast dedication and service to both the state
and the nation will be eternally remembered.
In a statement here, he said "Deeply saddened by the passing away
of Comrade Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, a stalwart of the Left movement
and former Chief Minister of West Bengal."
"His steadfast dedication and service to both the state and the nation
will be eternally remembered", he said.
"A resolute Marxist, he devoted his life to fostering an egalitarian
society, championing the cause of the marginalized, and advocating for
social justice", Mr Stalin said, adding, his achievements and his literary
contributions have left a lasting legacy.
"His leadership and commitment to the people will continue to inspire
future generations", he added.
"My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and cpimspeak cadre.
