Mumbai, Jan 24 (Reporter) A local court here on Friday extended till January 29 the police custody of Bangladeshi National Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, who had stabbed actor Saif Ali Khan at his residence last week. He was produced before the Bandra Magistrate court here with heavy police protection. While moving the remand application seeking further custody, police said that 'there has been considerable progress in the case and further custodial interrogation of the accused was necessary to recover additional evidence'.
