Patna, Aug 7 (Reporter) Describing senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid's statement that the 'turmoil seen in Bangladesh could potentially occur in India' as 'highly objectionable' and 'unfortunate', Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary said that the former's statement cannot be tolerated at any cost.
Retorting sharply at the statement of Khurshid who also stated that "whatever was happening in Bangladesh may also take place in India", Chaudhary said that Congress was trying to set wrong narratives on issues including constitution, democracy, reservation and others.
The party was also trying to create an atmosphere of distrust in the country by describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as dictator and by raising fingers at the constitutional bodies, investigating Agencies, Election Commission and EVMs.
He alleged that the "Tukde Tukde" gang wants to destabilise India through anti India forces and Modi's opponents.
Khurshid's controversial statement and the comments on article 370 and 35A in Kashmir is part of anti-India agenda of Congress.
The Bihar Deputy CM also condemned the statement of Khurshid made during the launch of book "Shikwa-e- Hind: the political future of Indian Muslims authored by academician Mujibur Rehman.
The senior BJP leader alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi did not even hesitate in downgrading the image of India with his statements during his foreign visits whereas the other leaders of Congress and INDI alliance were working on the mission to malign India.
He cautioned the people against such statements and conspiracies of vested interest leaders...////...
