Mumbai, May 27 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Monday ended marginally lower at 75,390.50 easing 19.89 pts at close as selling pressure was seen in Oil and Gas, Power and Utilities stocks despite positive Asian Market.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) eased 24.65 pts at 22, 932.45.
The NSE registered days high and low at 23,110.80 and 22,871.20 pts respectively.
See saw trend was witnessed today, the Sensex opened on a strong note at 75655.46, up 245 pts. During the day, it was rallied 599 pts at 76009.68; days high. In late trade it was tumbled down nearly 235 pts to 75175.25' days low figurempts from it previous close.
Meanwhile, it was up nearly 218 pts at 75636.50, days high.
The stocks that fell were BSE services by 1.52 pc, IT by 0.55 pc and Realty by 0.47 pc.
In 30 scrips, 12 advanced while 18 declined.
The Mid Cap rose 0.63 pc while small Cap fell by 0.09 pc.
The losers were Wipro by 2.36 pc to Rs 452.55, NTPC by 1.40 pc to Rs 369.60, Sun Pharma by 1.34 pc to Rs 1466.70 and M& M by 1.23 pc to 2548.30.
The gainers were IndusInd bank by 1.44 pc to Rs 1462.50, Axis bank by 1 pc to Rs 1186, Bajaj Finance by 0.87 pc to Rs 6897.80 and HDFC bank by 0.75 pc to Rs 1527.75.
However, the Asian market was seen positive as Strait Times was up by 0.06 pc, Hang Seng by 1.16 pc, Taiwan Weighted by 1.09 pc and Kospi by 1.30 pc to Rs 1.30...////...
