Mumbai, Jan 29 (Reporter) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday advanced further by 631.55 pts to close strong at 76,532.96 ahead of the union budget following gains in Realty, Industrials, and Capital Goods stocks. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 205.85 pts to 23,163.10. The Sensex opened strong at 76,138, up 237 pts. It remained in green throughout the session, as it spurted 698 pts at 76,599.73, the day's high, before closing at 76,532.96, gaining 631.55 pts from its previous close. The Nifty registered days high and low at 23,183.35 and 22,976.50 pts, respectively. The stocks that supported the market were Realty by 3.10 pc, Industrials by 2.94 pc, and Capital Goods by 2.70 pc. The mid cap rose 2.54 pc and the small cap by 3.28 pc. In 31 scrips, 24 advanced while 7 declined. The gainers were Zomato by 6.79 pc to Rs 222.50, Tata Motors by 3.29 pc to Rs 752.45, Infosys by 2.73 pc to Rs 1879 and Ultracemco by 2.38 pc to Rs 11,550. The losers were ITC Hotel by 5 pc to Rs 178.60, Maruti Suzuki by 1.18 pc to Rs 11,979.75, Asian Paints by 0.87 pc to Rs 2221.65, and Bharti Airtel by 0.85 pc to Rs 1605...////...
