Seven-day state mourning in Bihar as a mark of respect to Manmohan Singh

Patna, Dec 27 (Reporter) Bihar government declared a 7-day state mourning commencing from December 26 as a mark of respect to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. CM Secretariat sources said here on Friday that the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh passed away on December 26. In order to show respect to the departed soul the government declared 7 days of state mourning which would continue till January 1, 2025. During this period, the National Flag will be flown at half mast and no official entertainment programme will be held throughout these seven days. Meanwhile, the ongoing Pragati Yatra of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was cancelled on Friday and would remain suspended on Saturday due to the death of Ex-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh...////...
