Shivamogga, April 29 (Reporter) Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, commenting on the ongoing sex scandal controversy involving Prajwal Revanna, the NDA candidate in Hassan, reiterated the JD(S) commitment to accountability. Speaking to the media here on Monday, he clarified that the issue is individual and not a matter of familial ties. He emphasised that if Prajwal Revanna is found culpable, irrespective of his family background, appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken. "Their (Revanna and Prajwal) family stands apart from ours (Kumaraswamy and Deve Gowda), and there's a clear distinction. If Prajwal is proven guilty, he will face action," ex-CM stated. Regarding queries about the release of an alleged pen drive evidence, which Kumaraswamy had raked up in last July, alleging corruption charges against a cabinet minister in the Siddaramaiah government, he said it would be disclosed "at an appropriate time," suggesting a strategic approach to handling the situation. The allegations against Prajwal Revanna, grandson of Deve Gowda, are substantial, with reports suggesting his involvement in a sex scandal affecting multiple women.
