Bengaluru, Aug 17 (Reporter) In a decisive display of solidarity, the Congress party, spearheaded by Karnataka President DK Shivakumar, has rallied unwaveringly behind Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, rejecting any suggestions of his resignation over the alleged Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam involving his family members. Addressing the media on Saturday, Shivakumar, also the Deputy Chief Minister, emphasized the party’s resolute support for Siddaramaiah, dismissing the accusations as politically motivated and baseless. “There is no question of resignation,” Shivakumar stated firmly. 'Siddaramaiah is our Chief Minister, and he will continue to serve in that capacity. We stand united in defending him against these unfounded charges.” The Deputy Chief Minister condemned the allegations as a deliberate attempt to destabilize the government through the Governor’s office, describing the case as a politically orchestrated maneuver. “This is a manufactured case aimed at creating political turmoil,” he asserted, highlighting the lack of evidence supporting the claims.
