Bengaluru, Aug 3 (Reporter) In a significant display of solidarity, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced substantial aid for Kerala in response to the recent landslide tragedy in Wayanad.
On Saturday, Siddaramaiah took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that Karnataka will construct 100 houses for those affected by the disaster. This pledge underscores Karnataka’s commitment to supporting its neighbor during this critical time.
The Chief Minister also reached out to Kerala’s Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, assuring him of Karnataka's full support. Siddaramaiah’s announcement has been warmly received by national leaders and the public alike.
"In light of the tragic landslide in Wayanad, Karnataka stands in solidarity with Kerala. I have assured CM Shri @pinarayivijayan of our support and announced that Karnataka will construct 100 houses for the victims. Together, we will rebuild and restore hope," Siddaramaiah stated.
