Bengaluru, Jan 22 (Reporter) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday flayed the BJP for installing Lord Ram's Murti in Ayodhya temple without installing Laxman, Sita and Anjaneya. "They (BJP) are separating Rama. This is incorrect. And Ram is incomplete with the installation of Laxman, Sita and Anjaneya," he told reporters here. Siddaramaiah also said that the Congress party worships Lord Ram of Mahatma Gandhi, not BJP's. He said that the Congress party is not against Lord Ram, but devotees of Him, and also accused the BJP of trying to obstruct the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam. "Sri Ramchandra should not be confined to any political party's agenda. We refute the narrative that we are against Sri Ramchandra. We are also devoted to Lord Ram," he told reporters after inaugurating a temple in Hirenhalli dedicated to Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman and Lord Laxman. This temple has been built not for reaping political gains, but out of genuine devotion to Lord Ram, Siddaramaiah said. "The essence of Lord Ram remains the same everywhere," he added. The CM also accused the BJP for obstructing a peaceful padayatra being carried out by party leader Rahul Gandhi in Assam. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was denied entry into Srimanta Sankardeva's shrine situated in Assam's Batadrava Than, the birthplace of the Vaishnavite saint. "We want to visit the temple (Batadrava Than). What crime have I committed that I cannot visit the temple? ... Earlier we were invited but now the administration is saying that we cannot go. Perhaps only one person can go to the temple," he said in an apparent attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi...////...
