Hyderabad, Feb 9 (Reporter) CS Rangarajan, the Chief priest of Chilkur Balaji temple, also known as Visala Swamy, was attacked by a group of individuals in Moinabad Mandal, Rangareddy district. The incident occurred on Friday but came to light on Sunday when Rangarajan filed a complaint with the police. According to the police, Rangarajan, who resides near the temple, was approached at his home by a group seeking his support for the "Ramarajya Sthapana" initiative. When he refused, an argument ensued, which escalated into an attack. During the altercation, Rangarajan's son was also injured while attempting to intervene. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Moinabad police confirmed that one suspect has been taken into custody, and efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.
