Some terrorists believed killed across LoC in Poonch landmine explosion

Jammu, Feb 6 (Reporter) An unspecified number of terrorists are believed to have died in a landmine explosion across the Line of Control in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir while attempting to illegally enter India. Official sources here on Friday said that a landmine explosion took place on the Line of Control in the Battal area of Krishna Ghati Sector in Mendhar on the intervening night of February 4-5. "As per reports, terrorists trying to infiltrate are believed to have died in an explosion that took place when one of them inadvertently stepped on it," they said. They added that the exact number of terrorists killed in the blast could not be known. "Searches were launched close to the fence but nothing has been recovered so far," they said...////...
