Chennai, Jan 8 (Reporter) The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Wednesday night announced that the docking of two SpaDeX satellites for space docking experiment scheduled for tomorrow morning has been deferred again for the second time, this time due to drift between satellites. However, the two satellites on board Spadex mission were safe. This was for the second time the docking maneuver was deferred by the Space Agency due to a technical glitch. In an update on X, ISRO earlier said "initiated the drift on the Spacecraft-A to move closer from 500 m to 225 m". A little while later, in yet another update, ISRo said "while making a maneuver to reach 225 km between satellites the drift was found to be more than expected, post non-visibility period". "The planned docking for tomorrow at 0800 hrs is postponed. Satellites are safe", ISRO, which had announced live streaming of the docking from 0745 hrs tomorrow, said. Earlier it was scheduled on January 7 afternoon, but was postponed to January 9 as it required further validation through ground simulations. "The "SpaDeX Docking scheduled on 7th is now postponed to 9th", it had said, as the docking process requires further validation through ground simulations based on an abort scenario identified today,” it had said on Monday. But it was a deferred again for the second time today. (ED : PICK UP SUITABLY FROM EARLIER SERIES)...////...
