While SRH dropped leggie Markande and added one more batsmen in the only change in the playing XI after losing the last match, CSK retained the same team, that lost to LSG at home on April 23. With eight points in eight matches (4 wins and 4 losses) CSK, placed sixth in the points table after winning the first three home matches, is in a must win situation to stay afloat for a place in the play-offs, while SRH is in third place with ten points.
