Chennai, Nov 10 (Reporter) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin launched a slew of projects and distributed welfare assistance to the people in the southern Virudhunagar district on Sunday.
On his second and final day visit to the district, where he held a road show yesterday and also inspected and reviewed the implementation of various welfare schemes launched by the ruling
DMK, Mr Stalin inaugurated a new District Collectorate building constructed at a cost of
Rs 77.12 crore, launched 34 completed projects at a cost of Rs 21.36 crore for various departments and distributed government welfare measures to 57,556 beneficiaries to the tune of Rs 417.21 crore at an official function.
During his visit Mr Stalin inspected the safety measures at a cracker manufacturing unit, interacted with the workers, inspected a government school met the students,visited a government's children home inspected the facilities and the quality of food served to them and promised all assistance from the government...////...
