Stalin meets top executives of Ford, IT Serve Alliance in Chicago, invites them to invest in TN

Chennai, Sep 11 (Reporter) On an official visit to US to attract investments, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin on Wednesday met senior executives from Ford Motor Company and IT Serve Alliance in Chicago and invited them to invest in Tamil Nadu. During the meeting with Ford Motor Company, one of the world's leading automobile manufacturers headquartered in Michigan, USA, Mr.Stalin urged the company to resume automobile production in Tamil Nadu and expand their global technology center there. He also extended an invitation to the senior executives of IT Serve Alliance, a major consortium of IT service companies for small and medium businesses in the USA, to make new investments in Tamil Nadu. An official release here said Tamil Nadu is recognized as one of the fastest growing economies in the world and a leading state in India with a high number of industries. To attract more business investments, Tamil Nadu has been developing world-class infrastructure facilities, industry-specific parks, and various new initiatives, including research and development projects, innovation programs, and skill development centers, supported by comprehensive industry policies, it said. With these strengths, the Tamil Nadu government under the leadership of Mr Stalin, is making several notable efforts to create more job opportunities for the youth and enhance industrial growth in the state. As part of this effort, the Chief Minister is on an official visit to the USA to attract business investments to Tamil Nadu. During this visit, agreements worth Rs 70.16 billion were signed with 16 leading global companies in San Francisco and Chicago, and invitations were extended to senior executives of various top global companies to invest in Tamil Nadu. Further to this, Mr Stalin met the senior executives from Ford Motor Company and IT Serve Alliance in Chicago to discuss new business investments in Tamil Nadu. Ford Motor Company is the second-largest American automobile manufacturer operating worldwide, and headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan, USA. Ford has a global technology and business solutions center in Chennai. During the meeting, the Chief Minister requested Ford to resume automobile production in Tamil Nadu and further expand their global capability center there. During the meeting Ford's IMG President, Ms.K.Hart, Vice President (International Government Affairs), Mr.Matthew Kotlowski, Ford India Director (Government Affairs), Dr.Sripath Pat, and other senior officials were present. . The release said IT Serve Alliance is the largest consortium of IT service companies for small and medium businesses in the USA, operating with 2,400 member companies across 23 states. The alliance supports business-friendly policies, enhances networking opportunities, and improves local communities through CSR and STEM initiatives. IT Serve also provides legal assistance for high-performance employee immigration. The Chief Minister met IT Serve Alliance's National President, Mr Jagadish Mosali, Directors, Mr.Siv Moopanar, Mr.Samp Moova, Chicago wing President, Mr.Satish Yalamanchili, and other senior officials, requesting them to make new investments in Tamil Nadu to provide employment opportunities for skilled youth...////...
