Chennai, June 9 (Reporter) Citing the recent large-scale discrepancies and the nation-wide
opposition, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin on Sunday reiterated
his demand for banning NEET exams for admissions to UG medical course.
In a statement here, he also shared the report of the Justice A K Rajan committee, formed by
the DMK government, that recommended ban on NEET as it was anti-poor and anti-social
justice in nature.
He shared the report in English and all major Indian languages for everyone to understand the
ill-effects of NEET.
Stating that DMK was the first to foresee the hazards of NEET and undertook a large-scale
campaign against it, Mr Stalin also recalled the unanimous resolution passed in the Tamil Nadu
Legislative Assembly seeking exemption from NEET, which was now awaiting the Presidential
assent after an inordinate delay from the Governor's side.

it. After coming to power, we constituted a High-Level Committee headed by Justice A.K. Rajan to study the impact of NEET-based admission process", he said.
The Committee's report, based on extensive data analysis and inputs from students, parents and the
public, has been published and shared with various State Governments to expose NEET's anti-poor
and anti-social justice nature, he pointedout.
"Based on the recommendations in the report, a Bill seeking exemption from NEET was unanimously
passed by the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. It is now awaiting Presidential assent, after an
inordinate delay from the Tamil Nadu Governor's side", he added.
"As nationwide opposition to NEET grows due to the recent large-scale discrepancies, we are sharing the report of Justice A.K. Rajan Committee in English and all major Indian languages for everyone to
