Chennai, Dec 16 (Reporter) Welcoming the talks between visiting Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake with Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the concerns of Tamil fishermen, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister urged Mr Dissanayake to release the fishermen detained by the Lankan Navy and their boats. In a post on X, he said such a gesture will infuse confidence in the deliberations and mark a constructive step towards fostering stronger ties and a harmonious future between the two nations.
