Chennai, June 12 (Reporter) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin on Wednesday directed the Non-Resident Tamil Welfare department to ascertain whether any Tamils were affected in the massive fire at Mangaf in Kuwait that claimed 49 lives. An official release here said, according to reports 49 people were killed and several injured were hospitalised in the fire mishap and steps were being taken to ascertain whether any Tamils were among them. Soon after getting information about the incident, Mr Stalin directed the department officials to ascertain whether any person from the State was affected in the fire, get their details and provide necessary medical assistance to them.
