Pune, Aug 28 (Reporter) The Southwest Monsoon has been active over Gujarat Region, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and coastal Karnataka. It has been subdued over Bihar, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat Region, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at many places in Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Madhya Maharashtra, at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, east Rajasthan, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka and Kerala and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.
