Patna, Jan 01 (Reporter) Leader of opposition and senior RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Wednesday promised to do something for every section of the society on the first day of the new year, which is also an election year for Bihar.
Yadav in an open letter to the people of Bihar on the first day of the new year, promised to do something tangible for every section of the society. He also targeted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his inertia in taking steps to improve the lots of people of the state.
" We have already announced to increase the old age pension to Rs 1500 per month from the existing Rs 400 per month if voted to power in next assembly elections ", RJD leader said adding that a new scheme named " Mai Bahin Maan Yojna " would also be launched for giving financial assistance of Rs 2500 per month to every women. Price of essential commodities had increased alarmingly and women were finding it difficult to purchase something of their choice, he noted. For any state to prosper, the condition of women had to be improved, he pointed out.
Yadav said that Nitish Kumar had fallen short of all innovative ideas for development. Kumar was now a tired Chief Minister and he could do nothing to improve the condition of any section of the society, he added.
RJD leader said that 2025 would be remembered as the year of the beginning of a new era in Bihar for moving on the path of development and prosperity. If voted to power in the next assembly elections, his government would take a number of steps for setting up agro-based industries, he added...////...
