Patna, Apr 28 (Reporter) Leader of the Opposition, Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, on Sunday demanded that BJP should tender public apology for making hollow promises to youths and misleading people of the country in last 10 years.
Yadav told mediapersons here that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all top BJP leaders were not talking on real issues of public interest during their campaign in ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
They were just trying to mislead the people and divert their attention by talking about 'Mangalsutras' and other issues having no relevance at all concerning the people, he said.
The Leader of Opposition said that PM Modi had promised crores of jobs to youths every year but it
remained only a poll gimmick in last 10 years.
Even after making promise to grant special status to Bihar, Modi conveniently forgot it and did not give even a special package to the state, he pointed out.
Yadav claimed that it is the character of BJP not to talk about real public issues and divert public attention for its political gains.
People would give a befitting reply to BJP in ongoing Lok Sabha elections for letting them down, he added...////...
